The museum is open every day 11am-4pm through the bank holiday weekend.

There are mine tours at 11am, 1pm & 2.10pm - ring 01629 583834 to book places on them as they are filling up quickly!

On Sunday our 1pm tour of Temple Mine is done by candle light. 

Panning for minerals is done as part of the mine tour.

Family ticket - 2ad & 3ch for the museum, mine and panning for minerals just £44  - allow 3 hours for your visit.

Allow time to find parking in Matlock Bath. Alternative parking is available South of the village at Cromford Meadows, follow the signs for Cromford Mill (20 min walk away) or at at Masson Mill, the big red brick building on the A6 (10 mins walk away), or if you are coming from the North you can park at Artist's Corner car park (30 mins walk to the museum).
