This Easter we are open every day of the week with mine tours at 11 & 1 every day*. 

From the 9th April through to the 24th April we have extended opening hours from 10am until 4.30pm so you can spend even longer in the museum.

If you are hoping to go on the mine tour and panning for 'gold' we advise you to 'phone in advance to book places - 01629 583834.

*Please note that public tours of the mine will be at different times on the 12th & 13th April as we have school groups visiting. Please 'phone for details.
