We have two walks coming up:
The first is on Wednesday 16th April exploring Stanton Moor's industrial heritage.
The second is on Easter Sunday 20th April and explores some of the limekilns and quarries of the National Stone Centre, then the old Cromford & High Peak Railway and two lead mine shafts which will be illuminated.
We are running this in conjunction with Wirksworth Mines Research Group who will be based at Jackson mine shaft all day.
The Steeple Grange Light Railway will also have engines running from 11am-4pm, and the National Stone Centre cafe will be open from 10am until 4pm and we definitely recommend their food!
Details of meeting points and prices are on the posters.
