Our guided mine tours are at 11am, 1pm & 2.10pm - ring 01629 583834 to book places on the tour. They are a great experience and you are able to pan for minerals afterwards. You do need to stoop in places but can stand up soon afterwards and you do not need to crawl. It is a bit wet in the mine even now and we recommend trainers are worn, the mine is 10 degrees all year so you may want to bring a jacket or jumper. Dogs are welcome on the mine tours.
