The Museum is open from 11am – 4pm this weekend with mine tours at 11am, 1pm & 2.10pm. There is plenty to see and do in the Museum whatever your age and interest: from our climbing shaft and tunnels through to the huge collection of artefacts and minerals. ‘Phone 01629 583834 to book places on the mine tour.
Our younger visitors have been really enjoying discovering the lives of cave spiders on a trail around the Museum. There is also a mouse hunt with all of the mice named after local mines. Family tickets for 2 adults and up to 3 children are £20 for just the Museum, £21 for the mine or £36 for both. Allow 2-3 hours if you are doing both.
